The Ledroit Park community of NW Washington DC has been designated a historic landmark district. Many prominent , influential, Afircan Americans have made Ledroit Park their home for over one hundred years, and because of their historic achievements, and contributions to this community,  and America , Ledroit Park has become an American treasure. Their historic  contributions and the legacy they left us , was the inspiration for this documentary "PRESERVING LEDROIT PARK".Produced-Researched-Written-and Directed by Ronald Smokey Stevens 
The Robert H and Mary C Terrell Home located in the 300 hundred block of T. St N.W, which has now become a "historic landmark", was also the inspiration for "THE TERRELL RESTORATION PROJECT".  This project is designed to assist with the restoration of The Terrell Home.
Robert H. Terrell was appointed by President Taft , and became the first Black Judge to sit on the Municiple Court in Washington DC.
His wife Mary Church Terrell, at the incredible age of 86, was responsible for desegregating restaurants in Washington DC in 1953.
"PRESERVING LEDROIT PARK" , the documentary focuses on their contributions, along with the contributions  and achievements ,of many other, historic individuals
